Arcata, California - Volunteer organization Green Wheels undertook a large brush-clearing project on the sidewalks of Arcata last weekend, hauling the waste away in trailers attached to their bicycles.

Green Wheels noticed that some of Arcata's sidewalks were overgrown with vegetation, making it more difficult and less pleasant to walk in some areas, so we decided to do something about it. On Saturday, 3 November 2007, Green Wheels volunteers took to the streets to clear overgrown sidewalks and remind property owners and residents to help keep sidewalks clear.

Volunteers were Chris Rall, Chad Johnson, Sara Dykman, Aaron Antrim and Adam Jamin.
